As the first college in China focusing on the field of smart energy, the college's mission is to break through traditional disciplinary boundaries and build an innovative ecosystem where energy disciplines interact and collide with other diverse disciplines through interdisciplinary integration and industry-education integration. Currently, the empowerment of AI in the energy sector has transcended its tool attribute—it is reshaping education, energy research, and energy engineering, profoundly changing the mode of knowledge supply and the paradigm of scientific research and innovation, and bringing extremely profound and far-reaching impacts on higher education and the energy industry. To strengthen academic exchange and cooperation in "AI + Energy" among universities, Shanghai Jiao Tong University has initiated and organized the 2025 University "AI + Energy" Academic Seminar, which will focus on talent training, scientific research and engineering application innovation in energy disciplines, and conduct in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities of "AI + Energy".
